Parent Support

Approach

Parenting is often said to be one of the most profound and rewarding—yet at times, overwhelming and exhausting—roles we take on. While love for a child can be deep and enduring, navigating behaviors, emotional storms, or family stress can leave even the most devoted caregivers feeling stuck, uncertain, or alone.

Our parent support services are rooted in evidence-based models like Incredible Years and Circle of Security Parenting, blended with a relational and developmental lens drawn from years of clinical work with families in both pediatric and psychiatric settings. Whether you’re seeking guidance for your toddler’s tantrums, your teenager’s withdrawal, or the emotional toll parenting has taken on you, we are here to support you.

We empower parents not just with tools—but with insight, confidence, and a renewed connection to their children.

Care Elements

We believe that parents are the most powerful agents of change in a child’s life. Our services are not about judging or prescribing, but about collaborating—seeing your strengths, listening to your concerns, and helping you chart a path forward that reflects your unique family story.

Our parent support services include:

  • Individual or couples-based sessions to explore parenting struggles, stress, or family dynamics.
  • Education and coaching grounded in Incredible Years and Circle of Security—helping parents understand their child’s behavior through a developmental and attachment-informed lens.
  • Practical skill-building to manage tantrums, defiance, emotional outbursts, or shutdowns—while preserving the parent-child relationship.
  • Space to explore your own emotional responses asa caregiver, and how your upbringing or current stressors may be shaping your parenting.
  • Joint family sessions, when helpful, to repair communication ruptures and foster healing..

What You Can Expect

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in relationship. We offer a space for parents to pause, reflect, and grow—not just for their children’s sake, but for their own. You are not expected to do this perfectly or alone. You are invited to do it with courage, curiosity, and support.

Here’s what sets our approach apart:

  • We meet you with empathy and clinical expertise, not shame, blame, or one-size-fits-all advice.
  • We help you identify hidden gaps in communication with your child—and build the skills to bridge them.
  • We integrate both medical and psychological insight to give a holistic view of parenting challenges.
  • Our ultimate goal is for families to heal together, cultivating stronger bonds, clearer understanding, and lasting change.

You are not failing. You’re learning—and we’re here to walk alongside you in that learning. Please note that parent support services are expected to be a part of all child and adolescent services, but are also offered as a stand-alone service.
